Communicating information about the population, climate, geography, and history of Saudi Arabia with fitting stylization.
After being randomly assigned a nation, I collected and organized over two dozen data metrics about the country. Finding a way to clearly visualize this wide variety of information was a challenge; arranging those pieces into a coherent and visually pleasing composition was another.
In order to avoid monotony, I learned how to create several kinds of graphs using Adobe Illustrator's built-in tools.
Although it wasn't a requirement for the assignment, I created illustrations to add interest to both the poster's map and historical timeline.
This project proved to be a great exercise in designing icons, from a simple internet symbol to camels & goats.
